The CRRMA Board of Directors authorized the issuance of a Request for Proposals for Marketing and Outreach Services. For more information see the [Procurements Page].

The Texas Transportation Commission provided final approval of two State Infrastructure Bank Loans for the CRRMA related to the financing for the Loop 375 (Northeast) Mainlane Extension Project and the Loop 375 at FM 659 (Zaragoza) Direct Connector Projects. These loans will provide the CRRMA with up to $40 million to assist in the completion of these projects.

A dedication ceremony for the State Spur 601 (Inner Loop) Project was held today. Distinguished speakers included: Scott McLaughlin (CRRMA Chair), Amadeo Saenz (TxDOT Executive Director), Colonel Joseph A. Simonelli Jr. (Garrison Commander, Ft. Bliss), Mayor John Cook (City of El Paso), Representative Joe Pickett (Texas House of Representatives) and U.S. Congressman Silvestre Reyes. The well attended event officially dedicated the Inner Loop, now known as the Liberty Expressway – a 7.4 mile connection between the Purple Heart (Loop 375) and Patriot Freeways (US 54). Project financing for this regionally important project in the form of a $233 million bond issuance was provided by the CRRMA.
