Winn Road
Project
The CRRMA, in partnership with the City of El Paso, is developing the Winn Road Project, near the Zaragoza Port of Entry. Through this partnership, the City agreed to provide the funds necessary for the CRRMA to plan, design and construct this project. This is an important regional project that will help alleviate traffic congestion issues near the Zaragoza Port of Entry by providing new ingress and egress routes for international truck traffic utilizing this port of entry.
The project extends Winn Road, which will serve as the main entrance route for the port of entry, thereby alleviating the congestion currently affecting area roadways, including Loop 375 and its frontage roads. This project will also work with the improvements anticipated from the Americas Managed Lanes Project to further improve the area’s traffic flow.
